Cupcake Cuties

Move over diamonds, cupcakes are a new girl's BFF. In recent years cupcakes have made a huge splash on the scene and it's about time. These little delectable treats are so pretty and tasty it's hard to eat just one. Also known as Fairy Cakes in England and Patty Cakes by our Australian brothers cup cakes date back as far as the 1700's with the first mention of cup cake can be found in a written recipe. The gourmet cupcake is the big craze, some with fillings, and all with elaborate icing and decorations. There are whole recipe books devoted to different cupcakes and even bakeries that are devoted to selling only cupcakes.
With such a love affair of cupcakes going on, it's not a surprise that cupcake designs are all over for sale.
